Today i spent a lot of time figuring out why my jabra headset wont be visible to my phone. Read on the internet and confirmed as per instructions that my phone's bluetooth is on and visible
Yet the damn thing is not found when i do a search for bluetooth devices. Thats when I found what I was missing all the way. To put your jabra headset in pairing mode, its essential that you press the call answer key as long as the blue led start "solid"i.e. no blinking. This is when your device is in pairing mode.
So ensure that the headset is switched off. Then long press the call answer key on the headset till the LED glows "solid " and doesn't blink. Now search for bluetooth devices on your phone and you shall see the jabra headset. Punch in "0000" for the pairing code. And there you have your headset connected.
To answer calls from your phone headset , goto call settings -->common settings-->BT answer mode and change it to hands-free.
